At Forthea, we love keeping up with advancements in marketing technology. After all, finding the right new tool can save us oodles of time in simple tasks, and can allow us to focus on what we really love, producing real results.
Since Thanksgiving is right around the corner, I’ve rallied up a few of the team members here at Forthea Interactive and asked which marketing technology or resource they are most thankful to have. Here is what they had to say:
1. Spyfu
Amber Joy – Account Executive
Spyfu is a web-based search analytics service designed to provide useful insights and data regarding your competitors’ keyword strategies. By using web scraping technology, Spyfu is able to tell you which words your competitors are bidding on, how well they are ranking and much more. Learn more about Spyfu.

Synergy – Synergy not only helps you manage dual monitors, it helps you manage different operating systems on each monitor with the same keyboard and mouse.
3. Nielsen Norman Group Website
Shannon Rasberry – Senior Copywriter
It’s probably no surprise that a Forthea employee loves a site dedicated to data and research. Of the Nielsen Norman Group, Shannon loves that “they conduct scientific usability research that helps guide the development of best practices for UX and can be used to increase the value of website design and copy.”
4. Notepad ++
Michael Ashby – Developer
Michael’s job as a site developer keeps him knee deep in code pretty much all of the time. For that reason, Michael is thankful for Notepad++ this Thanksgiving. Notepad++ is a robust source code and text editor designed for Windows, and it is perfectly free to download.
5. Microsoft Excel
