Our SEO experts developed a comprehensive plan to improve the organic performance of the site, with the ultimate goal of increasing revenue. Some initiatives that led to success were:
- Performed regular site crawls and made ongoing recommendations for technical fixes, including JavaScript and CSS file optimization, image compression, and corrections to 3xx, 4xx, and 5xx internal links. [Figure 4]
- Identified and corrected duplicate product pages creating duplicate content errors.
- Performed bulk site speed audits using BrightEdge’s Instant Page Speed Performance tool to identify key opportunities for improvement.
- Optimized and expanded the thin content on product category pages based on keyword research from the Competitive Analysis tool.
Since program start, organic traffic increased an average of 25% each month. At almost 16.5k organic visits in March 2022, that month’s traffic was 602% higher than in March 2021 and 1,707% higher than in January 2021. The eCommerce performance of the site was also outstanding, with revenue from organic traffic increasing 407% since last March and 3,481% since January 2021.
Data from Google Search Console corroborates these results, showing a 480% increase in impressions and a 508% increase in clicks YoY. 91% of clicks are from non-branded queries.
