Mark brings extensive technical accounting expertise to Forthea through his background in both public accounting and the private sector. His experience was earned during time spent performing financial statement audits, providing consulting services to several clients in a wide range of industries, and from previous work as an assistant controller in a marketing firm.
Mark obtained both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Houston. Upon completion of these degrees, Mark obtained his CPA license which has been active since 2016.
When not in the office (and often when he is), Mark is talking about pens, notebooks, inks, and all things stationery. He is also the President of the Lone Star Pen Club and an avid fiction writer focusing primarily on fantasy. Naturally, he prefers to write by hand with a fountain pen.
