Forthea Interactive Marketing Intern Positions

Now accepting applications for Spring & Summer 2012 interns

Here at Forthea we're passionate about our work and always striving for excellence. We're a vibrant team, working well together as well as independently. We think outside the box. We test. We measure. We analyze. We create. And we remain up-to-date on what's new within the industry. When doing so, we have fun!

The best part is that we get results, and turn our clients into believers. Our culture here is both collaborative and creative and our interns receive a rare behind the scenes “basic training” style introduction to the inner workings of internet marketing.

When does the Intern Program start and end?

We accept three intern classes every year: Fall, Spring & Summer. Each class is roughly 12 weeks in length, with start dates as follows:

  • Fall Class: First Monday in October
  • Spring Class: First Monday in February
  • Summer Class: Third Monday in May

We will accept applications up to one year in advance of a class’ start date. Each period shall have a limited class size/availability.

What are some tasks that an Interactive Marketing Intern should expect?

Search Engine Optimization, Link Building, Social Media Marketing, Online Public Relations, Online Reputation Management, PPC Marketing, Creative Creation, Article and Blog Post Writing and Editing, Email Marketing, Content Creation and Promotion and Hole Punching. Trainees must demonstrate the ability to follow directions, pay careful attention to details, have a positive attitude, deliver on deadlines, and work well within teams. Showing up for your shift and going through the motions simply isn’t going to cut it. You absolutely must play to WIN. You’ve got to be willing to share a bit of yourself, and your passion for the industry.

Do Interns get hired at Forthea Interactive?

Forthea is growing very rapidly and every intern will have the opportunity to apply for a full-time position with our team. Staffing requirements will vary from time to time, but all intern resumes will be considered for full time employment.

Will you help me get a job outside of Forthea Interactive, too?

If you’re awesome and we can’t offer you a job, the best thing we can do is to help launch your career. We WILL assist with resumes, give recommendations, make calls, write letters, even personally introduce you to key players in the field, and absolutely everything that we can to help you get established.

Is there any other compensation?

School Credit is offered but not required. We will work to accommodate your schedule whenever possible. We understand you have classes, a job and in some cases, a family. We have an extensive library of books, e-books, and video tutorials that can be checked out or watched internally.
