8 Holiday Blunders to Avoid This Year

8 Holiday Blunders to Avoid This Year

The holiday season is in full swing folks! Naturally this means we should compensate our lack of initiative in Christmas shopping by watching others fail miserably at holiday traditions. We have curated 8 absolute failures of celebrating the holidays for your enjoyment. From songs to parades, pets and even children, hysterical embarrassment lurks around every corner. Without further ado, let the blunders begin.

1. Reaching for the high note in “O Holy Night”

Or any of the notes for that matter. Did we mention your coworkers would love you if this was shared with them? If you do some digging on this video’s background, the man claims to have performed this as a farce after hours in the recording studio. We’ll let you be the judge of that.

2. Messiah Chorus: An eighth note rest ruins it all

This is probably the last Christmas concert the organist will perform for some time. I really feel for the organist, they won’t forget this slip of the keys for some time. At least the audience was gracious in its’ applause.

3. Ice Pool Jump Fail

There’s nothing like celebrating the season by enjoying the elements. By elements, this means a frozen pool in a European backyard. What could possibly go wrong? This man tries to put his own twist on polar bear swimming.

NOTE: Even though he speaks a different language, please be aware our would-be daredevil employs some foul words before jumping.

4. Falling Christmas Trees

O Christmas tree! Buckle yourself in for the ride on this video, you’ll see over 30 falling Christmas trees in less than a minute. Enjoy.

5. Christmas Parade Fail

Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer seems to have left the North Pole and gone out on the lam. A town Christmas parade takes a turn for the worse as Rudolph loses an altercation with a traffic light.

6. Christmas Pets

It’s not a tacky Christmas without singing pets singing Christmas songs. This needs no further introduction.

7. Present Surprise

Last year, Jimmy Kimmel asked parents to prank their kids by giving them a terrible present. How does it feel to have the last laugh this time?

8. Christmas lights fail

I didn’t know this, but apparently Christmas lights can explode near tinsel? Thankfully no one was hurt, this is strange and bizarre. Blowing up Christmas lights makes one think National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.

We hope you got a good laugh from the list! Stay safe this holiday season, enjoy your friends and family.
